About Me
I was born in Cirebon (which means "Shrimp
City" in Javanese), West Java, Indonesia. I have a
Balinese father, and hence I have a Balinese name. For
those of you who wondered what does my first name I
Gede means, the "I" is an old Balinese
tradition that indicates you're a guy, and "Gede"
means the first child in the family.
Started drawing when I was
3 years old and haven't stopped yet. Went to school (drew a lot),
and graduated with a
Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from Monash
University in Melbourne, Australia (where I also drew
a lot).
Then I got into the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where I still drew alot and graduated with an MFA in Computer Animation. In the past 3 years I was working at Factor 5, and shipped Lair for Playstation 3. I am grateful to have worked with such creative and inspiring team. And now my adventure in the
real world continues, and while I hunt for a job
I will animate and draw some more. ;)
